Martexin Original Waxed Canvas

Martexin waxed canvas is a hearty American made material known for its durability and water resistance. Much like leather this material develops a natural patina over time. This becomes a unique fingerprint of how you’ve used the bag.

If you find you need to clean your bag, use a damp cloth, or a stiff bristle brush. If necessary, you can use a small amount of gentle soap. To maintain the integrity of the wax finish, do not machine wash the bag or use detergents.

For the best performance, your bag will need to be re-waxed every few years using Martexin Original Wax, which can be found here.

Ecopak

Ecopak is the world’s only durable and waterproof fabric made from 100% recycled polyester fiber and film. Each yard upcycles about 20 plastic water bottles into durable technical textiles. It uses a C0 DWR (no fluorocarbons) for additional water resistance. Based on 35 years of weaving, coating and laminating experience, Challenge’s ECOPAK™ fabric lasts longer, absorbs 80% less moisture, and has better UV resistance and color retention than traditional laminated nylon.

If you need to clean your Ecopack bag, you can pretty much follow the same steps as the waxed canvas - brush off any loose dirt and dried mud, and spot clean using with a damp cloth or sponge with a gentle soap. Do not use bleach, solvents, or other harsh chemicals.

Warranty and Repairs

I stand behind my work, which is why I offer a lifetime warranty: if your bag fails as a result of defects in materials or workmanship I’ll repair it, or replace it with a like item free of charge. I’ll even cover the cost of shipping back to you. This doesn’t cover wear and tear from daily use though.

If you have a bag that has seen some serious use and abuse, I’ll happily repair the product for you, but I reserve the right to determine that a product is beyond repair.

If you have a warranty or repair claim, simply send an email with a few photos and a description of the problem to isaac@voyagerbagworks.com and I’ll get back to you in 1-2 business days with instructions on how to ship the product back.
